Love will make you look younger…

Love is the gift you give yourself!

I believe it is most important to learn to truly love yourself. Loving yourself is true inner and outer beauty. The way we feel about life shows on our face and in our body by the way we move, act and interact with others…

An angry, bitter, selfish person looks old, acts old and moves like an old person.

A happy, joyful, loving person looks young, acts young and moves like a young person!

Loving yourself is not vanity, arrogance, or acting as if you are the best thing since sliced bread. For that is fear!

Truly loving yourself is having self-respect for the miracle of you!

Loving yourself is never criticizing yourself. Never say to yourself what you would not say to others.

To learn to love yourself you must let go of fear! There is nothing to fear except fear itself. Fear is self-destructive. Fear will keep you hidden from the world and will stop you from enjoying all the wonderful opportunities in the world. Fear will stop you from meeting new people, having new experiences, trying a new hairstyle, wearing different clothes, buying new makeup, wearing sensuous lingerie… Fear will stop you from being the best that you can be!

But love, oh love will make you be the BEST that YOU can be!

My all-time favourite quote says it so well…

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves.
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?

How to be the best looking woman in the room…

If you want to stand out among the others in the room, then wear this colour!

It is the colour of power, sexiness and is the colour lingerie that men most often buy for their lady love.

RED!

In an age when most men and women wear black, especially out on a date, to a cocktail party, a ball or simply to meet for drinks. Everyone looks the same and no-one stands out, EXCEPT the Lady in Red!

Everyone suits the colour red, if you are a cool based woman then wear a blue-based red, if you are a warm-based woman then look for a yellow red.

Red was one of the hottest colours for this summer and it will be for this winter too!

Look POSITIVELY FABULOUS every day!

Whether you have blonde, brunette, auburn or black hair you suit red!

Remove this food from your diet and watch the changes to your body and mind!

There is one food that is said to be the culprit to putting on weight as well as slowing your brain down and making you forgetful.

If you can eliminate it from your daily diet, you will quickly lose weight and your brain will be sharper.
So what is it?

Simple – Sugar!

The worst thing is – that sugar is very addictive!

David Gillespie the author of Sweet Poison was 40kg overweight, lethargic, sleep-deprived and the father of four, with twins on the way. He knew he needed to lose weight fast, but he had run out of diets – all had failed. After doing some reading on evolution (why weren’t our forebear’s fat?), David cut sugar – specifically fructose – from his diet.

He immediately started to lose weight, and kept it off. Slim, trim and fired up, David set out to look at the connection between sugar, our soaring obesity rates and some of the more worrying diseases of the twenty-first century, and discovered some startling facts in the process.

Sugar was once such a rare resource that nature decided we didn’t need an off-switch – in other words, we can keep eating sugar without feeling full.
  • In the space of 150 years, we have gone from eating no added sugar to more than a kilogram a week.
  • You would need to run 7km every day of your life just to not put on weight as a result of eating that much sugar.
  • Two decades ago 1 in 14 adult Australians and New Zealanders were obese; that figure is now 1 in 5.
  • The ‘natural’ sugar in one glass of unsweetened fruit juice per day for a year is enough to add just over 2.5kg your waistline.
  • The more sugar we eat, the more we want. Food manufacturers exploit our sugar addiction by lacing it through ‘non-sweet’ products, such as bread, sauces, soups and cereals.
Eating a diet high in added sugar over the long term alters your brain’s ability to learn and remember information. However, the good news is that eating nuts and fish such as salmon can counteract this disruption.

Wishing you a GREAT sugarless day!

Can you be too rich or too skinny?

You know the old saying, ‘You can never be too rich or skinny”.

Personally I have never had the experience of being too rich – but I wouldn’t mind finding out!

But can you be too skinny – absolutely!

That is if you are over 40 and not naturally slim.

As we age we lose the natural collagen in our face that keeps our face looking youthful. If we become too skinny the first place to age you will be the face! As there is not any of that natural collagen too plump the face up, and no you cannot get this from skincare products despite their claims.

There is only one to put collagen back into your face and that is with injecting it, and of course you would never do this to your entire face.

You can use a cold laser light to rebuild your natural collagen or use the ageLOC Galvanic Spa that will re-turn on your youth genes to lift and firm your face.

So the answer to the question is – yes – if you become too skinny as you age - you will look ten years older rather then ten years younger. A little weight on the face does not hurt you as you age – it will keep you looking younger for longer!

The question you have to ask yourself is this – what do I want to like my best – my face or my body? Either opt for a slim body and aged face or a rounder body and a younger face – the choice is yours, unless of course you use the ageLOC Galvanic Spa - then you can have both!

Wishing you a POSITIVELY FABULOUS day!
